The clamp rack is just a piece of large dowel rod. I am going to hardwire the extension cord into one outlet so no one gets hurt. This allows me to keep my table saw, battery charger, and other tools plugged in without having to run multiple extension cords. ![]() Once plugged into a wall outlet with a male to male extension cord, all plugs have power. I’ve also wired in outlets with the help of my dad. The rest of the bench is constructed with 2x4s (some new, some old) and 3/4” plywood (all construction grade that I sanded smooth because it’s $35 a sheet where I live) Drawers are made of 1圆s with a 1/2” plywood bottom. It has 10 drawers (the sliders came in a lot of 10), and extra space for wood and clamps. ![]() This is my first workbench! It’s 4’ by 8’ and was designed around my Dewalt table saw. ![]()
